How often do you consider the psychology of colour when creating content, running ads, building landing pages, etc.?
Are colours really one of the determinants of human behaviour?
Many Psychology studies suggest colours significantly influence perceptions of consumers. The choice of colour my help influence the purchasing decision, or evoke particular feelings with a brand or product. Therefore, colour psychology is an essential element of marketing communication.
You can easily associate colours with brands; Purple evokes memories of Cadbury chocolate, Yellow may bring back memories of a McDonald’s burger and Green may remind you of Spotify’s music!
So next time you think about creating some content think about your colour choices – colours matter!
